Taiwan NCC Certification Introduction

NCC is the abbreviation of Taiwan Communications Commission (The National Communications Commission), which mainly controls the circulation and use of communication and information equipment in the Taiwan market: 1. LPE: Low Power Equipment, i.e., low power equipment (e.g., Bluetooth, WIFI equipment); 2. TTE: Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (e.g. cell phones, tablet devices). 

NCC certified product range

1. Low power RF motors with operating frequency from 9kHz to 300GHz.

Such as: wireless network (WLAN) products (including IEEE 802.11a/b/g), UNII, Bluetooth products, RFID, ZigBee, wireless keyboards, wireless mice, wireless headsets and microphones, radio walkie-talkies, radio-controlled toys, radio remote control, wireless anti-theft devices.            

2. public switched telephone network equipment (PSTN) products such as: corded telephones (including VOIP network phones), automatic alarm equipment, answering machines, fax machines, remote control devices, corded telephones, wireless primary and secondary units, key telephone systems, data equipment (including ADSL equipment), incoming call display terminal equipment, 2.4GHz radio frequency telecommunication terminals, etc. 3. land mobile communication network equipment.            

3. Land mobile communication network equipment (PLMN) products such as: wireless broadband access mobile station equipment (WiMAX mobile terminal equipment), GSM 900/DCS 1800 mobile phone and terminal equipment (2G cellular phone), third-generation mobile communication terminal equipment (3G cellular phone), and so on. 

Description of NCC certification mark

In order to meet the needs of Taiwan's trade facilitation and customs clearance, effective January 1, 2006, the format of the validation label for telecommunication control RF equipment and telecommunication terminal equipment has been revised as follows:

CC: Fixed code to differentiate the type of equipment imported. xx: Certification authority (organization): indicated by English letters. xx: Year: 2007 is indicated by 07, 2008 is indicated by 08 and so on. yy: Type of equipment. yyy: Serial number: each year from 001-999 in increasing order. z: Series number. z: Check code. Series number z: table validation method W: check code

NCC certification process

1, the commissioner to provide product information to assess the offer; 

2, the commissioner to confirm the return of the signature offer, fill out the application form, provide samples, information, arrangements for payment, the opening of the case; 

3, BCTC to arrange for the product prediction, and review the information; 

4, prediction of the qualified, send a sample of Taiwan test; 

5, test completed test report; 7, submit the issuance of a certificate to get a certificate report, close the case.  BSMI application methods: There are currently three application methods.

Certificates have no expiration date and are valid as long as there are no product changes and the test standards have not been updated.
