 What is SAA Certification

In fact, SAA certification can be said to be the mandatory certification in Australia, that is, the mandatory certification in Australia and New Zealand. Australia and New Zealand are two sparsely populated countries, with a current population of only 23 million, but with very strong consumption power. SAA (Standards Association of Australia), as it is commonly known, is actually a standards institute in charge of standards development and revision. Products such as electrical and electronic appliances entering Australia (including Australia and New Zealand) must be certified and have a certificate number stamped on them before they can be legally sold in Australia.

SAA is the certification that electrical products entering the Australian market must comply with local safety regulations, i.e. the certification that the industry often faces. Due to the Mutual Recognition Agreement between Australia and New Zealand, all products that have obtained Australian certification can enter the New Zealand market for sale without any problems. All electrical products are required to do Safety Approval (SAA) There are two main types of SAA marks, one is the Formal Approval and the other is the Standard Mark. Formal approval is only samples are responsible for, while the standard mark is required for each factory review. At present, there are two ways to apply for SAA certification, one is through the CB test report to turn, if there is no CB test report, you can also apply directly.
