Recently, Amazon has made another new policy, this time concerning sellers of 3C products. Amazon will remove products that lack the required FCC information starting March 7, 2022. The policy is pictured below:

According to Amazon's policy, all Radio Frequency Devices (RFDs) must comply with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations as well as applicable all federal, state and local laws, the announcement said.
As of March 7, ASINs for electronic or electrical products that do not have FCC information are at risk of being removed if the product is required to be certified.

At the same time, Amazon advises sellers of RFD devices sold on Amazon in the FCC Radio Frequency Transmission Compliance Attributes that sellers must perform the following actions:
1
Provide evidence of FCC authorization, including the FCC certification number or contact information for the responsible party as defined by the FCC.
2
Declare that the product cannot emit radio frequency energy or is not required to obtain FCC authorization for a radio frequency device. Fill out the FCC Radio Frequency Emission Compliance attribute for more information.
And back in February 2021, Amazon has filed a notice regarding FCC certification.
The difference is that the notice did not remove the ASIN prompt, while this time the notice requires compliance before March 7th. It can also be said that this notice is the "upgraded version" of last year's notice.
What is FCC?
FCC stands for Federal Communications Commission, which is an agency of the U.S. federal government responsible for managing the U.S. radio spectrum. The FCC prevents "radio and broadcast pollution" by enforcing standards of broadcast decency and by regulating sources of electromagnetic noise.
All electronic products entering the U.S. are subject to FCC certification (except for a very limited number of products specifically exempted from the relevant provisions), and the requirements of the FCC's regulations cover technical specifications such as transmitter requirements, wireless equipment, electromagnetic compatibility requirements, telephone termination equipment, test methods, and administrative requirements, as well as other market access conditions.
Products certified include radio, television, digital cameras, Bluetooth, wireless devices, and a variety of RF electronic products.
Laboratory Recommendations
As an international authoritative comprehensive testing and certification organization, the laboratory recommends relevant sellers to promptly check whether there are relevant products that are not required to carry out FCC certification and carry out FCC testing and certification as soon as possible, otherwise the products sold as mentioned in the official notice will face the risk of deletion.
Laboratory as a third-party service provider for Amazon, Amazon can provide the relevant testing and certification services required by Amazon, welcome to consult!
