SRRC Certification

The full name of SRRC is State Radio Regulation Committee, i.e., the State Radio Regulation Committee. In 1998, the National Radio Monitoring Center and the National Radio Spectrum Management Center were merged and unified into the China National Radio Monitoring Center.

Micro-power (short-range) radio equipment without SRRC certification, such as toys, 27MHz, 40MHz remote control airplanes, remote control cars do not need to apply for radio type approval certification. Certification Fee

In view of the current SRRC test fee has been canceled, enterprises can apply for free. Due to the complexity of the application process, companies should be prepared to apply in advance. Conducting pre-test work can greatly increase the pass rate of the application! Avoid subsequent failure to pass the test and incur other costs or therefore delayed certification time.

SRRC certification fees, about the SRRC free policy interpretation

According to the latest policy, SRRC certification to implement the no-charge standard, the product test is qualified, the evaluation through the approach SRRC certificate. If the test results are unqualified, you need to pay the test fee. Once the sample test results are unqualified, you need to reapply: companies submit an application for type certification - the state agency formally accepted - the enterprise to pay a deposit to the designated test organization - the Product testing. Product emission frequency is different, the content of the test is also different, the main test items are: power, spectral range, frequency tolerance, bandwidth, spurious radiation and so on. 

1. the model of the device under test should have test procedures, methods, standards, conditions, test connection block diagrams and special test accessories and the most recent test report (copies or photocopies can be)

2. If the transmitter port of the equipment under test belongs to non-standard interface, the test connection cable of the equipment under test and the attenuation value of the cable stamped with the company's seal shall be provided as text or graphical basis.

3. If necessary, the applicant shall send engineers and technicians to cooperate with the test.

4. It is recommended that companies pre-test the samples before sending the test to increase the passing rate of the test!

SRRC certificate cycle: about 8 weeks; validity: five years

SRRC certification application schedule and considerations

- There will be market surveillance sampling, no factory review

- December 4, 2018 - January 31, 2019, self-check phase (without a type approval certificate can be applied for at the appropriate testing organization)

- February 1, 2019 - March 31, 2019, first round of random inspection. (Commodities that do not have the qualification are taken off the shelves and can be applied for on the shelves when they have the qualification).

- On February 1, 2019, the key category system is configured with single-item qualification management, and the single-item model calibration certificate needs to be submitted in the VC system when new items are added.
